"Never forget the roots of your family"
A little serious of our mind:
Try to imagine, that your grandchildren can´t speak with you in your language......
Learn your family the language of the roots, so your family - children can speak their language from childhood!
Learn your family the culture of the roots, so your family understand and respect the roots e.g. Mano Po!

Etiquette in the Philippines Proper Manners, Etiquette, Customs, Protocol & Do's and Don't's & Local Etiquette - ManilaHow to behave in social situations in Manila. Here are a few customs and etiquette to be aware of during your visit to the Phillipines. Filipinos value honor. The concept of hiya or shame requires one to behave in a manner that will not shame the person or the family. Handshake is common when meeting someone. If elders are present, acknowledge them first. Address people formally indicating their profession or using their last names. In discussions Filipinos tend to be non-confrontational. People will not directly say no. Look the full

Manila Bay Cruise natureadventures wrote on Jun 9, 2011: A night of cruising along the Manila Bay, while the live band serenading us. It’s the second time that we booked a cruise from Sun Cruises. The first one was when we visited the island of Corregidor. Cruising Manila Bay at night was relaxing specially if being serenade by the live band. The food was great by there were few choices but nevertheless we enjoyed the cruise. It’s worth the time and effort of booking the cruise. View of Manila at night is a great way of enjoying the night. |

Banca Boats - Traditional Filipino Outrigger Boats The traditional Filipino watercraft called the "Banca Boat" looks just like this. Deep V hull, a couple of outriggers to keep it from falling over. They come in all shapes and sizes. They just put car engines in banca boats, truck engines, they use the transmission right out of the vehicles. Everybody uses them. They're easy to fix, as they are made out of plywood. There's a pretty good example in the videos! Look the full descriptions of the 2 videos in the
